AL SHOHUB PRIVATE SCHOOL

People who help us

All members of staff at Al Shohub are readily available to support students and their parents at any time of day. However, sometimes it is necessary to speak with specific members of the team who specialise in personal, social or health related matters.

School Nurses

At Al Shohub, we have two full time Nurses who are available to support students with any medical needs or concerns they may have. Our Nurses attend regular training throughout the year, particularly related to current health matters affecting the local area, and school children in particular.

School Counsellor

We also have a full time Social Worker, who supports students and their parents on a variety of issues, providing individual and family counselling where appropriate. She also provides workshops and information sessions to both students and parents on a variety of topics, including

Inclusion Department

Supporting our Students of Determination, is our Inclusion Department. Al Shohub is an inclusive school, and will, as much as possible admit students who have either learning or physical needs, as long as we are confident we can support them with the necessary resourcing available to us. Any parents wishing to register their child who may have an identified need should disclose this upon registration to the school, to ensure we can put in place the appropriate provisions.
